Free Train-the-Trainer Workshop in Frankfurt

The Department of Financial Institutions (DFI) and the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau's (CFPB) Office for Older Americans are partnering to offer a free train-the-trainer community workshop for advocates and other community members to
prevent financial exploitation of older adults.
This train-the-trainer workshop will teach participants to use the Money Smart for Older Adults curriculum in their communities to raise awareness of and prevent elder financial exploitation. The program will present an overview of the curriculum with
a focus on frauds, scams and other forms of financial exploitation that frequently target older adults.
Participants will receive materials and training on best practices for effective presentations to older adults and family caregivers.
The training is from 10 to 11 a.m. June 14.
