DOR Launches New Tax Filing Form

The Kentucky Department of Revenue (DOR) has a new streamlined process that replaces the mailing of paper Forms W-2, W-2G, and 1099s.
Employers will now need to submit these forms on the new Form K-5, Kentucky Employer's Report of Withholding Tax Statements. Paper copies of Forms W-2, W-2G, and 1099 received by DOR will not be processed and will not be considered filed.
Employers and payers who issue Kentucky withholding statements W-2, W-2G, or 1099 must report the information to DOR on or before January 31 of the following year. No extensions will be granted.
