Drinking Water State Revolving Fund Plan Finalized

Kentucky's 2021 Drinking Water State Revolving Fund Intended Use Plan (IUP) including the Project Priority List is finalized, and available for viewing at kia.ky.gov. The IUP identifies the first round invitations to apply for loan funds, and describes the basis for the invitations. The Kentucky Infrastructure Authority (KIA) has funds available for low-interest planning, design and construction loans for drinking water projects. The IUP was prepared jointly by KIA, an agency in the Governor's Office, and the Division of Water (DOW).
Construction loans carry a 20-year repayment period while loans for planning and design carry shorter repayment periods. Thirty-year repayment terms are available to disadvantaged communities. Disadvantaged communities may also qualify for an additional principal forgiveness award.
