The East Kentucky Cooperative Extension Service is hosting a complimentary program and lunch specifically for agriculture lenders, offering an opportunity to gain current market insights and enhance support for local producers.
This event is designed to help lenders make informed decisions regarding operating loans and capital purchases, while also expressing appreciation for their ongoing support of the Extension Service and regional farmers.
The program will take place on January 27, 2026, at the Fleming County Extension Office, located at 1384 Elizaville Road in Flemingsburg, Kentucky, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
Attendees will hear presentations covering a variety of relevant topics, including regional observations from the Kentucky Farm Business Management program, updates on the U.S. and Kentucky economies, and grain crop profitability. Sessions will also cover considerations for specialty crops and horticulture, as well as guidance for lending to livestock operations.
Lenders are encouraged to register by January 23, 2026, to reserve their spot. Registration can be completed online or by calling (606) 474-6686. For more information, interested participants may contact Rebecca Konopka at rebecca.k@uky.edu or via phone at 606-474-6686.
