Apply Now - Kentucky Farm Bureau College Scholarships Open

By Blake Jackson

The Kentucky Farm Bureau (KFB) is now accepting applications for its post-secondary scholarship program from high school seniors across the state. Applications will be accepted through 11:59 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 28.

The program offers scholarships in more than 50 categories, with select opportunities also open to nontraditional students. Award funds may be used to cover tuition, housing, books, and other education-related costs.

Applicants must be children of Kentucky Farm Bureau members and must complete high school during the year they apply. In 2025, the organization awarded scholarships to 601 students statewide, distributing a total of $810,150 through both county and state-level programs.

The scholarship initiative is supported through a partnership between the KFB Education Foundation and local county Farm Bureaus.

“Kentucky Farm Bureau is proud to continue our long-standing commitment to supporting tomorrow’s leaders,” said Eddie Melton, KFB President. “These scholarships help remove barriers for students who are working hard to build their future. By investing in their education, we’re investing in Kentucky agriculture, our rural communities and the next generation who will help carry our way of life forward.”
