Scouting and monitoring crops to determine potential problems before they result in serious economic loss is key to the Integrated Pest Management (IPM) approach. This IPM guide was designed to aid in the identification of common problems encountered on cucurbit crops grown in Kentucky. Diseases, insects, weeds, and abiotic disorders are discussed. Descriptions are accompanied by one or more color images, as well as brief management comments.
This publication was cooperative effort of the UK departments of Plant Pathology, Horticulture, and Entomology.
