KSU Hosts 3rd Annual Ag Roundup Celebration September 4-6

By Blake Jackson

Kentucky State University’s College of Agriculture, Health, and Natural Resources has announced its 3rd Annual Ag Roundup, a three-day celebration set for September 4-6, 2025.

The event will gather students from middle school through college, along with faculty, farmers, businesses, and community members from across Kentucky, to highlight the university’s contributions to agriculture and student career development.

Festivities will take place on the main campus at locations including Bradford Hall, the Rufus B. Atwood Research Building, the Cooperative Extension Building, the Yellow Brick Road, and Alumni Stadium. Attendance is free and open to the public.

Day One - Networking Reception (Sept. 4)

An exclusive, invitation-only reception will connect Kentucky State students with alumni, community leaders, and event partners. The evening offers a unique opportunity for professional growth and meaningful networking.

Day Two - Ag Fest (Sept. 5)

The day will feature an agriculture symposium showcasing Kentucky State’s programs and career pathways in agriculture, health, and natural resources.

Guests can enjoy an outdoor fair-style event with exhibits, interactive activities, free food, and hands-on learning experiences.

Day Three - KSU Showcase (Sept. 6)

Visitors can meet agricultural professionals, explore campus life, take guided tours, enjoy a tailgate cookout, and attend a KSU football game free of charge.

“Through the Ag Roundup, we are raising awareness of our impact in agriculture and STEM fields across the Commonwealth of Kentucky,” said Dr. Marcus Bernard, Dean of the College of Agriculture, Health, and Natural Resources and Director of Land Grant Programs.

For additional details, visit the Ag Roundup webpage or contact Margaret Wolford at margaret.wolford@kysu.edu or 502-597-6672.
