Her goal is to return to her hometown and help farmers with legal services such as estate planning, business documents, and land transactions. The selection committee recognized her strong work ethic and dedication to her community.
Emma also earned another scholarship from the Kentucky Corn Growers, showing her strong commitment to her studies and future goals.
Braydon Thompson received the high school scholarship. He plans to study biology with a focus on plant and animal genetics. His goal is to work in a lab and conduct research that improves food production and protects the environment.
The committee valued his experience in youth programs like 4-H and FFA. They also noted his interest in history and his goal to understand global food systems. His strong interest in science and agriculture makes him a promising future leader.
