KAFC Loan Review and Business Meeting in Frankfort

By Blake Jackson

The Kentucky Office of Agricultural Policy has announced its upcoming in-person meetings scheduled for May. These gatherings will take place at the Franklin County Extension Office, located at 101 Lakeview Court in Frankfort.

On Friday, May 9, the Kentucky Agricultural Finance Corporation (KAFC) Loan Review Committee is set to meet at 9 a.m. EDT. This session will be followed by the KAFC’s monthly business meeting, which is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. EDT.

Both meetings will be held at the same location and are expected to address ongoing agricultural financing matters.

The following week, on Friday, May 16, the Kentucky Agricultural Development Board (KADB) will conduct its monthly business meeting starting at 9 a.m. EDT. As with the KAFC meetings, this gathering will also be held at the Franklin County Extension Office.

Immediately after the conclusion of the KADB business meeting, the KADB Application Review and Compliance Committee will meet to review project applications and compliance matters.

These meetings play a vital role in shaping Kentucky’s agricultural development and finance initiatives and are open to stakeholders interested in the state’s agricultural programs and funding decisions.
