A one-day workshop organized by Kentucky Proud is set to help agricultural producers in the state improve their marketing strategies. The event aims to assist Kentucky farmers in expanding their market reach and promoting their products to a broader audience.
“We are excited to offer this one-day workshop for Kentucky agriculture producers,” said Agriculture Commissioner Jonathan Shell. “Agriculture drives economic growth, and helping our producers expand their market opportunities benefits not only them but the entire state. Creating strong pathways for success ensures a thriving future for Kentucky agriculture.”
Scheduled for March 25 from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. in Elizabethtown, the workshop will offer a comprehensive overview of current marketing trends, funding opportunities, and best practices. Attendees will have the chance to participate in peer-to-peer panels, discussions, product reviews, and gain insights from local retailers. The hands-on sessions will focus on marketing planning and developing effective elevator pitches to improve product promotion.
The workshop, priced at just $15, will be held at the Hardin County Extension Office. It is designed to provide valuable resources and strategies for producers looking to enhance their business and build a sustainable future for agriculture in Kentucky.
