The Organic Association of Kentucky (OAK) will host its 16th Annual Organic Farming Conference, titled “Seeds to Systems: Organic Innovation,” January 29-30, 2027, at the Cave Area Conference Center in Cave City, Kentucky.
The two-day event will bring together farmers, researchers, nonprofit organizations, government agency representatives and agricultural service providers to exchange knowledge and explore ways to strengthen regional food systems.
The conference will feature more than 30 educational sessions covering organic farming methods, livestock grazing, specialty crop production, organic grains, soil health, seed production, farmland transitions, marketing strategies and opportunities for beginning farmers.
Bob Quinn, a fourth-generation Montana farmer, scientist, author and founder of the Quinn Institute, will deliver Friday's opening keynote address.
Saturday's closing keynote will feature Rick Clark, a fifth-generation Indiana farmer, founder of Farm Green and regenerative organic farming consultant.
Additional activities will include a trade show, demonstrations, networking opportunities, individual consultations, a locally sourced lunch, and OAK's annual meeting and Friday evening mixer.
Scholarships will be available for students and Kentucky farmers, while continuing education credits will be offered to agricultural professionals. Early-bird registration is open through December 14, 2026.
