By Blake Jackson

The North American International Livestock Exposition (NAILE) kicks off this Thursday at the Kentucky Exposition Center in Louisville, drawing an anticipated 200,000 visitors through November 20.

Known as one of the premier livestock events in the world, NAILE features exhibitors competing on the legendary green shavings for top honors, cash prizes, and the prestigious purple and gold banner. This year’s exposition boasts a record-breaking number of entries, showcasing the best in North American livestock breeding and showmanship.

The event welcomes the public, with free admission available at select times throughout the exposition. Alongside the livestock competitions, NAILE offers a full lineup of entertainment and shopping opportunities. The North American Championship Rodeo, presented by Rural 1st, takes place November 13-15 and requires a separate ticket.

Visitors can also enjoy live country music and Southern cuisine at the Hitching Post from November 13-18, featuring performances by artists such as Chancey Williams, Alex Miller, and the Kentucky Headhunters.

The North American Country Store, open November 6-20, provides free parking and admission on November 11, inviting attendees to browse hundreds of vendors offering western wear and unique goods.
