Fish and Wildlife Commission Special Meeting Jan. 14

The Kentucky Fish and Wildlife Commission will hold a special called video teleconference meeting at 8:30 a.m. (EST) on Jan. 14.

The meeting will be livestreamed on the Department of Fish and Wildlife Resources' YouTube channel at https://youtube.com/FishandWildlifeKY. A link to the livestream will be posted on the department's homepage at fw.ky.gov at the start of the meeting.

A viewing room with chairs spaced for social distancing also will be provided at the Salato Wildlife Education Center at 1 Sportsman's Lane in Frankfort starting at 8:15 a.m. (EST) on the day of the meeting. Please note, masks are currently required in Executive Branch state buildings due to COVID-19.

Public comments will be handled as follows:

- Those wishing to comment about a topic on the agenda may email their comments with "Commission meeting" in the email's subject line to FW.PublicAffairs@ky.gov through 5 p.m. (EST) on Jan. 13.

- Comments will be read by department staff up to 3 minutes total per commenter during the "Public Comments" time on the agenda, time permitting, and at the discretion of the Commission chair.

- Commenters should include their first and last name, Kentucky county of residence (or state of residence if a nonresident), and organizational affiliation and position, if they are an officer or official representative for a particular organization. Contact information is not required for emailed comments, but will be necessary if information is requested, and only name and affiliation will be publicly disclosed if provided.

- Anonymous comments will be reviewed by the Commission but may not be read during the meeting.

- The Commission chair reserves the right to not read publicly any comments that are libelous, profane, derogatory of others, or not relevant to the meeting agenda.

- The Commission will review all public comments.

- Questions will receive an email response.

The Kentucky Fish and Wildlife Commission is a nine-member board, comprised of volunteers who serve four-year terms. The Commission recommends hunting, fishing and boating regulations on behalf of the sportspersons of the Commonwealth.
