The Kentucky Farm Bureau (KFB) has announced that four farms in Oldham County have earned a place in its 2026 Certified Farm Market Program.
Caywoodland Farm, Rootbound Farm, Sherwood Acres Beef, and White Oak Point Farm Market are now recognized as certified markets committed to offering high-quality local products and exceptional customer service.
The program highlights markets that meet strict standards for product quality, freshness, and presentation while connecting consumers with locally grown food.
“Kentucky Farm Bureau’s Certified Farm Market program is a direct link between the farm families who grow our food and the neighbors who depend on them,” said KFB President Eddie Melton.
“The certification gives these markets the recognition they deserve, and it gives consumers a trusted signal that what they’re buying was grown with care right here in Kentucky.”
Each certified farm offers unique products and experiences. Caywoodland Farm in Crestwood features seasonal vegetables, freezer beef and pork, eggs, and preserved foods throughout the year.
Rootbound Farm provides certified organic produce, poultry, eggs, and lamb through CSA memberships, online sales, and special farm events.
Sherwood Acres Beef in La Grange specializes in naturally raised Scottish Belted Galloway and Galloway beef, selling USDA-inspected dry-aged cuts and offering scheduled farm tours.
Meanwhile, White Oak Point Farm Market in Goshen features Kentucky Proud honey, fresh flowers, and seasonal produce from its historic farm property, along with beekeeping tours by appointment.
The Certified Farm Market Program continues to support Kentucky agriculture by helping consumers easily identify trusted local farms that provide fresh products and memorable farm experiences across the state.
