Celebrate 100 years at the Kentucky 4-H teen conference

By Blake Jackson

Calling all Kentucky teens! Join the 100th anniversary celebration of the Kentucky 4-H Teen Conference, happening June 11th to 14th at the University of Kentucky in Lexington.

This four-day event, themed "Illuminate 4-H," is designed to equip teens with valuable life skills, leadership abilities, and communication tools.

Participants will experience college life firsthand by residing in dorms and exploring the University of Kentucky campus, including "The 90" and other student life facilities.

The conference offers a variety of exciting activities, including:

  • Service projects where teens can give back to the community
  • Fashion Revue showcasing creativity and style
  • Culinary Challenge testing kitchen skills
  • Elections for State 4-H Officers and the Teen Board

This is a fantastic opportunity for teens to connect with peers, develop valuable skills, and discover the many possibilities 4-H offers.

Contact your local county 4-H agent to learn more and embark on your 4-H journey!
