Kentucky FFA Names Brian Chism to Board of Trustees

By Blake Jackson

The Kentucky FFA Foundation has announced the nomination of Brian Chism to its Board of Trustees, highlighting his professional success and strong agricultural background.

Chism is the principal broker and owner of NextHome Chism Realty, where he has built a reputation for excellent client service, creative marketing approaches, and effective leadership. Licensed in Kentucky.

Brian Chism has achieved significant success since entering the real estate industry in 2017. Over the years, he has closed more than $70 million in sales and consistently ranked among the top real estate professionals in the state. In 2025, he was named one of Kentucky’s Best Real Estate Agents by RealTrends and ranked as the No. 7 producing agent nationwide within the NextHome franchise.

In addition to his real estate career, Chism remains closely tied to agriculture through his family’s fourth-generation farm in Brandenburg. His upbringing on the farm helped shape his values of hard work, stewardship, and dedication.

A longtime supporter of the Kentucky FFA, Chism served as the 2013-2014 State President and has stayed actively involved ever since. He also supports the Kentucky FFA Foundation as a donor and established a Forever Blue Endowment in Meade County in memory of his father.

As a trustee, Chism will help guide the Foundation’s efforts to strengthen agricultural education and develop future leaders.
