OAK is now accepting registrations for its 15th Annual Organic Farming Conference, set for January 30-31, 2026, at Kentucky State University’s Harold R. Benson Research and Demonstration Farm in Frankfort.
Marking 15 years of bringing people together around organic agriculture, the event will be held under the theme Cultivating Connections: Growing Organic Together for 15 Years.
The annual conference draws hundreds of participants from Kentucky and surrounding states who are actively involved in regional food systems. Attendees include farmers, researchers, nonprofit professionals, technical service providers, and federal and state agency partners, along with consumers committed to supporting sustainable agriculture.
This diverse mix of perspectives creates a collaborative space rooted in shared connections to Kentucky’s farms, soils, and communities.
The 2026 program will offer two full days of educational sessions led by local and regional speakers with hands-on experience in organic production.
Presentations will focus on practical on-farm systems, techniques, and management practices that help producers strengthen their operations. Community building, conservation, and collective action will be woven throughout the agenda, reflecting the values that underpin the sustainable agriculture movement.
In addition to educational programming, the conference will feature a Trade Show showcasing tools, services, and resources for organic producers, along with ample networking opportunities designed to support farmers and food system innovators across the region.
