The 120th Kentucky State Fair is in full swing, drawing thousands of visitors to experience the best of the Bluegrass State. Families like the Kaelins have made the fair an annual tradition, passing down the love of agriculture and entertainment to the next generation.
This year's fair offers a fresh experience with new food trucks and entertainment options. Classic favorites like the pineapple whip, a staple for 28 years, continue to delight patrons.
With over 260 retail vendors and 60 food vendors, the fair offers a diverse range of products and tastes. The event aims to celebrate Kentucky's rich heritage and diversity, inviting people from all walks of life to enjoy the festivities.
As the fair wraps up on August 25, organizers hope to surpass last year's attendance of 600,000. With something for everyone, from agricultural exhibits to thrilling rides, the Kentucky State Fair remains a beloved tradition for Kentuckians.
