The North American International Livestock Exposition (NAILE) is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year. The event, which takes place November 2-16, 2023, at the Kentucky Exposition Center in Louisville, is the world's most prestigious and respected livestock exposition, with tens of thousands of entries, hundreds of thousands of dollars in premiums, an action-packed rodeo, and more than 150,000 visitors from across the country.
NAILE began in 1974 with just over 1,700 beef cattle entries. Over the past 50 years, the event has grown to include dairy and beef cattle, dairy and meat goats, swine, sheep, llamas, alpacas, and draft horses.
In addition to livestock shows and activities, NAILE also features educational contests for youth livestock exhibitors, the North American Championship Rodeo, the North American Country Store, and the annual Saddle and Sirloin Club Portrait Gallery Induction.
NAILE is a celebration of the commitment and growth of the livestock industry. It is a time to witness and celebrate those who do so much to impact our daily lives and enhance our economy.
Bring your best to Louisville, and we'll see you on the green shavings this November!
