Participate in 4th Annual UK Curiosity Fair Oct. 27

The University of Kentucky will host it's 4th annual Curiosity Fair 4-6 p.m. Oct. 27 in the Gatton Student Ballroom, and is still accepting submissions for stations.

The Curiosity Fair at UK is an annual, community event that highlights the role of curiosity in education. Faculty, staff and students create "Curiosity Stations" or short demos that represent ideas from their classes, fields or research. There is always a wide variety of disciplines, and the event is an informal and fun way for participants to engage with new people and ideas.

Many faculty, staff and students have found the event helpful in getting out the word about the value of their research, majors and minors. This event is open to the public and generally has a large attendance from the university's undergraduate population and Lexington community. You can see more information about the fair on its website: http://curiosity.uky.edu.

If you'd like to create a station, you can submit a proposal here: Create a Station. Proposals will be accepted through Oct. 7.

If you would like to attend, you can register here.

Contact Hannah Ruehl at hru223@uky.edu or Beth Kraemer at kraemer@uky.edu for more information.
