Post Harvest Management of Acorn Squash

Acorn squash is a winter squash that does not have the post-harvest storage life of other winter squashes.

To determine best acorn squash storage practices, Dr. Rachel Rudolph, University of Kentucky Commercial Vegetable Extension Horticulturalist, and Dr. Nicole Gauthier, University of Kentucky Vegetable Extension Plant Pathologist, conducted a research study. This 11-minute video, which explains proper storage and post-harvest disease management of acorn squash, is based on information gathered from this research.

Post Harvest Management of Acorn Squash (video) is available online at www.youtube.com/watch?v=T25cdS_PVwg.
