Apply for NCBA Summer 2025 Internships

By Jamie Martin

The National Cattlemen’s Beef Association (NCBA) is accepting applications for its 2025 summer internship program, providing students with practical experience in supporting the beef industry.

Two positions are available - a public policy internship in Washington, D.C., and a meetings and events internship in Centennial, Colorado. These internships will run from May 19, 2025, to August 15, 2025, offering students valuable professional experience.

The public policy internship, held in collaboration with the Public Lands Council (PLC), includes research, monitoring federal regulations, and participating in stakeholder meetings. Interns will directly contribute to advancing policy priorities that impact the beef industry.

The meetings and events internship allows students to assist in organizing major industry gatherings. Interns will handle tasks like logistics, marketing, venue management, and budgeting, playing a key role in NCBA’s Summer Business Meeting and CattleCon.

NCBA President-Elect Buck Wehrbein emphasized the value of these roles - “Our interns perform critical work, and they have the opportunity to learn about how NCBA is at the forefront of defending America’s cattle producers and their legacy.”

To be eligible, applicants must maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0 and be junior or senior undergraduate or graduate students. This is a unique chance for students to build industry knowledge and skills.
