Beekeepers in Kentucky have an exciting opportunity to enhance their honey production skills at a free workshop on Monday, March 10, 2025, from 6:00 to 7:00 PM.
Hosted by the Whitley County Extension Office, this event is designed for both novice and experienced beekeepers looking to improve hive health and boost honey yields.
The workshop, held at 4275 N. Hwy 25W, Williamsburg, KY 40769, will feature expert insights on optimizing nectar flow, managing colonies effectively, and implementing sustainable beekeeping practices.
Attendees will gain valuable knowledge on how to maximize their honey production while maintaining strong, healthy bee populations.
Jimmy Sizemore, an experienced beekeeper, will be joining the session to share practical strategies for improving honey yield. His expertise, combined with guidance from local extension agents, will provide attendees with actionable techniques to enhance their operations.
This workshop is a fantastic opportunity for beekeepers to stay updated on the latest industry practices, ask questions, and network with fellow enthusiasts.
