The Kentucky Horse Council particified in the Kentucky Livestock Coalition's Family Night at the Ballpark last week, bringing along equine representatives War Admiral and Seabiscuit, who were graciously on loan from the Secretariat Center. Both celebrities enjoyed meeting attendees and making new friends.
The Wild Health Genomes defeated the visiting Long Island Ducks 3-0 in front of the Family Night crowd, capping off an entertaining evening of fun, games and mascot races.
The Kentucky Livestock Coalition is a diverse group of livestock, grain, and farm organizations working to ensure the public receives the most accurate and up-to-date information about Kentucky agriculture and its livestock industry. The KLC is dedicated to preserving and expanding farm animal production throughout the state of Kentucky by using environmentally sound production practices, scientifically based animal care standards, and approved and accepted quality assurance measures.
