Kentucky farm bureau youth winners announced

Ty Jones of Allen County and Brooklyn Felts of Nicholas County emerged victorious in the Kentucky Farm Bureau 2023 Outstanding Farm Bureau Youth contest, besting over 350 young competitors.

Following county and district competitions, the 22 finalists showcased their leadership, communication skills, and academic achievements through personal interviews and prepared speeches related to agriculture or Farm Bureau.

Impressing the judges, Jones and Felts were awarded the top honors, each receiving scholarships worth $3,500, luggage, and a watch.

Caroline Mattingly and Aiden Manley, the runners-up from Calloway and Menifee counties respectively, were presented with $300 cash prizes and leather portfolios.

All 22 finalists were recognized for their outstanding contributions, receiving luggage and $100 awards for their district wins.

The Kentucky Farm Bureau congratulates all participants for demonstrating exceptional talent and dedication to agriculture and the community.
