Learn from buyer expectations - MarketReady program

Learn from buyer expectations - MarketReady program

By Blake Jackson

Looking to expand your farm business by selling to restaurants, grocery stores, or schools? The MarketReady Producer Training Program can equip you with the knowledge and tools you need for success.

This free program, offered by the University of Kentucky's Cooperative Extension Service, is open to farmers, producers, processors, and even county extension agents. Participants gain valuable insights into the expectations of potential buyers, ensuring they meet the standards of restaurants, grocers, and other wholesale distributors.

The program also benefits extension agents, empowering them to better assist local farmers interested in these sales channels.

A training session is happening soon! On Wednesday, May 8th, from 9:30 AM to 2:00 PM, the program will be held in person at Kentucky Farm Bureau Insurance in Louisville, Kentucky. This free event includes lunch and a Buyer Panel discussion. Partner organizations will also be present to offer resources and support.

Space is limited to 25 participants, so register now! Don't miss this opportunity to take your farm business to the next level.
