Attention Kentucky Master Loggers! The Kentucky Forest Conservation Act mandates six hours of Continuing Education (CE) every three years to maintain your active status. This program keeps you updated on the latest advancements, regulations, and best practices in timber harvesting, leading to more efficient and sustainable logging operations.
Don't let your Master Logger Card expire! Not meeting the six-hour CE requirement results in removal from the active list and operating in violation of the Act. Regaining your status then requires re-attending the three-day Master Logger Program.
The good news: you can fulfill the six-hour CE requirement anytime within your three-year active period. Don't wait until the last minute - plan to avoid the hassle and ensure continued compliance.
This informative session, "Master Logger - White Oak Production and Harvesting," takes place on Wednesday, May 15th, 2024, from 9 am to 4 pm, at the Marshall County Extension Office (1933 Mayfield Highway, Benton, KY 42025). For more information click on registration.
