By Blake Jackson

The Highlands Beef Cattle Association, in partnership with the University of Kentucky's Martin-Gatton College of Agriculture, Food and Environment, is hosting its annual banquet on Friday, March 14th, 2025. The event will take place at the Lawrence County Extension Office in Louisa, Kentucky.

Registration for the banquet begins at 5:30 PM, followed by dinner at 6:00 PM. This event offers a valuable opportunity for beef cattle farmers and enthusiasts in the Highlands region of Kentucky to network, share knowledge, and learn about the latest advancements in the industry.

The banquet is supported by the Cooperative Extension Service, ensuring that educational programs are accessible to all, regardless of economic or social status.

The event is also designated as CAIP (County Agricultural Investment Program) Education Eligible, indicating that attendance can contribute towards meeting educational requirements for certain agricultural programs.

For those seeking more information, local ANR (Agriculture and Natural Resources) Extension Agents from Boyd, Johnson, Lawrence, and Magoffin counties are available to provide assistance. Contact details for each agent are provided on the event flyer.

The Martin-Gatton College of Agriculture, Food and Environment and the Cooperative Extension Service are committed to providing resources and support to the agricultural community, fostering growth and sustainability in the region.
