UK hosts field crop protection webinars

The University of Kentucky Martin-Gatton College of Agriculture, Food and Environment is pleased to announce a series of four webinars on field crop protection, starting November 2. The webinars will feature UK Cooperative Extension Service pest management specialists discussing plant pathology, weed science, and entomology topics.

The one-hour webinars will be held every Thursday morning in November via Zoom, beginning at 10 a.m. EST. Pre-registration is required for each session, and participation is open to all.

The webinar schedule and registration links are as follows:

November 2, 2023: "Do multiple corn fungicide applications pay?" with Kiersten Wise, extension plant pathologist.

November 9, 2023: "What have we learned from nearly two decades of research on soybeans with foliar fungicides?" with Carl Bradley, extension plant pathologist.

Certified Crop Advisers can earn one hour of continuing education units per webinar. Kentucky pesticide applicators are eligible to receive one continuing education unit in Category 1A (Agricultural Plant) per webinar.
