Want a Bigger Role in the Kentucky Horse Council?

Interested in becoming more involved in the Kentucky Horse Council? Consider sitting on a committee or running for the KHC Board.

The Board of Directors is the legal guardian of the Kentucky Horse Council. Its role is to ensure that KHC meets the organization's responsibilities and addresses specific horse-industry needs. Board members are expected to actively network for the KHC and assist with the planning and execution of events and programs, in addition to their regular meeting commitments.

Committees include:

  • Fundraising and Development
  • Marketing and Sponsorship
  • Outreach and Education
  • Kentucky Equine Networking Association (KENA)

Additional ad-hoc committees are often created from the committees to focus on a specific event or program
