Engage with agriculture - UK field day April 18th

By Blake Jackson

The Community and Leadership Development department at the University of Kentucky Martin-Gatton College of Agriculture, Food and Environment is thrilled to announce the upcoming UK Field Day event, scheduled for April 18, 2024, at Kroger Field in Lexington, KY. This annual event welcomes 4-H clubs and FFA chapters from surrounding counties for a day filled with exciting competitions and agricultural activities.

Attendees will have the chance to engage with students and professors from various agriculture fields in the UK, fostering valuable relationships and inspiring their future academic pursuits.

With the largest livestock judging event in the state, UK Field Day promises an immersive experience for all participants. Additionally, the event offers unique service opportunities for undergraduate students and stands as one of the largest youth gatherings on campus, second only to UK football games.

For those interested in participating or learning more, contact Mary Merlin at mary.merlin@uky.edu. Don't miss out on this fantastic opportunity to connect, learn, and celebrate agriculture at UK Field Day!
