Fall Crop Protection Webinar Series Begins October 30

As part of the Fall Crop Protection Series, a new educational webinar will be held for agriculture and natural resource county extension agents, crop consultants, farmers, and industry professionals. The series is open to participants both within and outside Kentucky, offering valuable insights into crop protection and management practices.

The sessions will take place every Thursday morning beginning October 30, 2025, at 10 a.m. ET (9 a.m. CT) and will continue weekly through November 20. Each webinar will run for one hour, providing focused, expert-led discussions on key agricultural topics.

Participants can also earn continuing education credits for attending. Certified Crop Advisers (CCA) will receive 1 Integrated Pest Management (IPM) credit, while Pesticide Applicators can earn 1 Category 1A (Agricultural Plant) credit.

The final session in the series, Webinar #4, will be held on Thursday, November 20, 2025, at 9 a.m. CT, featuring Dr. Travis Legleiter, Extension Weeds Specialist. His presentation, titled “Defense Wins the Ryegrass Battle,” will explore effective strategies for managing ryegrass and improving crop resilience.
