The Kentucky Office of Agricultural Policy has announced its key meetings scheduled for June 2025, which will be conducted both virtually and in person to ensure broad participation and accessibility.
The first meeting will take place on Wednesday, June 4, when the Kentucky Agricultural Development Board (KADB) On-Farm Energy Committee will gather by videoconference at 9 a.m. EDT. Committee members will join the meeting from remote locations to discuss energy-related agricultural programs.
This session can be accessed via Zoom using the following credentials:
- Meeting ID: 825 3710 5495
- Passcode: ENERGY0604
The next set of meetings is planned for Friday, June 20, where both the Kentucky Agricultural Finance Corporation (KAFC) and KADB will hold joint and separate sessions in person at the Kentucky Historical Society, 100 W. Broadway, Frankfort.
Activities on June 20 will begin early in the morning. The KAFC Loan Review Committee is set to meet at 8 a.m. EDT, focusing on reviewing financial support options for farmers. This will be followed by KAFC's regular business meeting at 9 a.m., covering monthly updates and approvals.
Following the adjournment of KAFC’s meeting, the KADB will conduct its monthly business meeting, discussing development programs and funding. Immediately after, the KADB Application Review and Compliance Committee will meet to go over current and new project applications, ensuring compliance with regulations.
These meetings play a critical role in guiding funding and development strategies for Kentucky’s farming community. Stakeholders and the public are encouraged to attend and stay informed about ongoing initiatives supporting the state’s agriculture.
