Kentucky Center for Agriculture and Rural Development (KCARD) is back with its popular "Growing Your Farm and Food Business" workshop series this fall!

This series equips farmers with the knowledge and connections needed to secure funding for their agricultural ventures.

The next workshops will be held in Springfield on November 13th and Jackson on November 19th. Both sessions cover essential topics such as:

• Business Planning for Grant Applications: Learn how to craft a strong business plan that impresses grant reviewers and strengthens your funding applications.
• Demystifying Grants: Gain insights into the world of grants, including where to find them, eligibility requirements, and valuable application tips.
• Networking Lunch: Connect with fellow farmers and share experiences in a relaxed environment.
• New! Speed Networking with Grant Representatives: This exciting addition allows for face-to-face interaction with grant program representatives. Get personalized advice and explore how specific programs align with your farm's needs. You might even start working on your grant application or business plan right there!
