Give 270 Surprises Hardin County Farmers' Market with $1,500 Sponsorships for Anniversary Celebration

Elizabethtown-based nonprofit Give 270 has made an unexpected donation of $1,500 to the Hardin County Farmers' Market in honor of their Anniversary Celebration. This generous contribution matches the support from various community sponsors who are set to participate in the June 24th event.

Give 270's co-founder and board member, Kenny Rambo, expressed gratitude for the economic and health benefits provided by the Hardin County Farmers' Market. The organization aims to further support the volunteers dedicated to supplying the community with high-quality, locally sourced food and products.

The Hardin County Farmers' Market is commemorating its 46th anniversary with a public event on June 24th. The celebration, held during the market's regular Saturday hours, will feature a ceremony, giveaways, and free cupcakes for attendees. The market showcases a diverse range of regional vendors offering fresh fruits, vegetables, eggs, meats, baked goods, jams, jellies, and other farm-fresh delights.

The president of the local nonprofit, Ben Smith, expressed surprise and gratitude for Give 270's donation, emphasizing the significant impact it will have on supporting the farmers' market and the dedicated growers involved.
