New National FFA Team Announced for 2025

By Jamie Martin

The National FFA Organization has officially announced its 2025-26 National Officer Team during the 98th National FFA Convention & Expo held in Indianapolis. Delegates from across the nation selected six student leaders to represent FFA members and advance agricultural education throughout the year.

This year’s officers were chosen from 37 candidates through an extensive interview process. The new national officers include Trey Myers of Oklahoma as President, Lilly Nyland of Michigan as Secretary, Joey Nowotny of Delaware as Eastern Region Vice President, Jael Cruikshank of Oregon as Western Region Vice President, T. Wayne Williams of Tennessee as Southern Region Vice President, and Claire Woeppel of Nebraska as Central Region Vice President.

Over the next year, the officers will engage with agricultural professionals, educators, and FFA members nationwide. They will conduct leadership training events, promote career development, and represent the organization at national and international conferences.

Serving as a national officer is about making a difference and building leaders for the future of agriculture, an FFA representative stated. The team’s mission reflects FFA’s goal to empower young people to grow as individuals, strengthen communities, and advance the agriculture industry.
