The North American International Livestock Exposition (NAILE) has appointed Alta Mae Core, a renowned figure in the dairy cattle industry, to its Executive Committee.
Core, hailing from Salvisa, Kentucky, will bring her extensive experience to the role, having previously served on the Exhibitor Committee.
With a distinguished career as an international livestock judge and a nationally recognized breeder, Core’s expertise will be invaluable in shaping the future of the NAILE.
Core and her family operate a 70-cow registered Jersey herd, further solidifying her connection to the industry.
“Our committee members play a vital role in our show’s continued success, and we’re pleased to recognize Alta Mae Core as our newest member of the NAILE Executive Committee,” said David S. Beck, President & CEO of Kentucky Venues. “Through her extensive knowledge of the dairy industry and her passion for making the industry shine, there is no doubt she will help foster positive relations with our exhibitors and help enhance this show for all involved.”
The appointment of Core follows the retirement of Joey Pendleton, who has dedicated many years of service to the NAILE. In recognition of his significant contributions, Pendleton has been honored with emeritus status by the Kentucky State Fair Board.
