Step into the shoes of a farmer at the WKU Glasgow Campus! From March 5th to 18th, the "Farmer Cultural Awareness Project" exhibit sheds light on the lives and perspectives of Kentucky farmers.
Through personal stories and interviews, delve into the unique cultural aspects of farming often unseen by the public. Get to know 27 farmers from south central Kentucky and gain a deeper understanding of their experiences, challenges, and passions.
This project, a collaboration between WKU and local organizations, aims to bridge the gap between farmers and the broader community. It's your chance to see farming through their eyes and appreciate the dedication and resilience it takes to bring food to our tables.
Immerse yourself in the exhibit from 8 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday. Conveniently located at 500 Hilltopper Way, Glasgow, KY 42141, the WKU Glasgow campus offers free parking on-site.
This initiative is part of "Raising Hope", a program dedicated to supporting the well-being of Kentucky's farmers and their families. By visiting the exhibit, you're not just gaining knowledge, you're contributing to a more understanding and supportive community for those who grow our food.
