Big Buddy 1300 Grain Cart Powers Welker Big Bud Harvest 2025

Big Buddy 1300 Grain Cart Powers Welker Big Bud Harvest 2025

By Jamie Martin

Demco has introduced the Big Buddy 1300 Dual Auger Grain Cart, a special collaboration with Titan International and Big Equipment Company for Welker Farms in Montana. Styled in a custom Big Bud color scheme with matching decals, the cart celebrates the Big Bud legacy while delivering practical, modern performance in the field.

The project originated from the Welker family’s plan to add a fourth Big Bud tractor—this time integrating a live PTO to directly run grain cart operations. With 10,000 acres of winter wheat, spring wheat, and yellow peas, Welker Farms relies on reliable, high-capacity equipment. Their popular YouTube channel, followed by more than 600,000 subscribers, will showcase the cart’s performance throughout the 2025 harvest.

Both the new Big Bud and the Big Buddy are fitted with Goodyear LSW1400 tires. The Low Sidewall Technology combines a larger rim and shorter sidewall to help reduce compaction, improve ride quality, and offer strong value compared with tracked alternatives.

Debuting on this cart is Demco’s Harvest Vision package, offered on all Dual Auger and 1000–1500 Single Auger models. The package adds a 4-way directional spout, two HD cameras with an in-cab monitor (auger and rear views), enhanced lighting with side and rear markers and work lights, and a bull-pull hitch for secure towing. This build also features a right-hand unload auger and an integrated fire safety kit to support safe, efficient harvesting.

You can see the Big Buddy and the newest Welker Big Bud at the 2025 Farm Progress Show in Decatur, Illinois, August 26–28, at Titan Tire Booth #933. Meet-and-greet sessions with Bob, Nick, and Scott Welker are scheduled daily from 9:00–11:00 a.m. and 1:00–2:00 p.m. For more updates, follow Welker Farms on YouTube and connect with Titan International and Demco Products on social media.
