KFB president reflects on 15 years of service

By Blake Jackson

Kentucky Farm Bureau (KFB) President Mark Horn has called on members to continue their advocacy for the agriculture industry as he prepares to address this year's annual meeting for the last time.

Horn said that advocacy is at the heart of what KFB does, and that members have always answered the call. He urged members to never take for granted KFB's seat at the table when issues are being discussed.

Horn also said that KFB's grassroots way of operation has served the organization well, and that it is the members who provide the foundation of the organization. He thanked members for their support through the years.

Looking to the future, Horn said that KFB is at a critical time for the industry, and that members must continue to have their voices heard. He specifically mentioned the upcoming Farm Bill and the need to speak out about government overreach.

Horn also encouraged members to attend the upcoming annual meeting, which he said is an important opportunity to elect new leadership, adopt policy, and celebrate the past year's efforts.
