Beef Bash: A Day to celebrate the Kentucky beef industry

Beef Bash: A Day to celebrate the Kentucky beef industry

The University of Kentucky Martin-Gatton College of Agriculture, Food and Environment and the Kentucky Cattlemen's Association will host the 2023 Beef Bash on September 21 in Versailles, Kentucky. The event will focus on the future of the Kentucky beef industry and will feature presentations on research, education, and facilities.

The theme of the event is "Vision of the Future." Speakers will discuss the latest advances in beef production, including ways to improve animal health and welfare, reduce environmental impact, and increase efficiency. There will also be educational opportunities for producers of all levels, from beginners to experienced ranchers.

The event will be held at the C. Oran Little Research Center from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM EDT. Registration is $15 and includes a meal ticket. Pre-registration is available online.

In addition to the educational presentations, the Beef Bash will also feature a tradeshow with vendors from the beef industry. There will also be a meal provided by the Woodford County Cattleman's Association.

Beef Bash is a great opportunity for producers to learn about the latest trends in the beef industry and to network with other producers and industry professionals. It is also a great way to support the research and education programs that are helping to make the Kentucky beef industry more sustainable and profitable.
