Kentucky 4-H has a chance to raise crucial funds for Carter County youth through the Ag Tag Donation program. This $10 voluntary donation, added to farm license plate renewals, supports leadership, citizenship, and life skills development for local 4-H'ers.
Since 2012, farmers have generously contributed, with funds divided equally between 4-H, FFA, and Kentucky Proud. This year, Carter County aims to raise $15,420, directly benefiting local programs and activities.
"This funding creates life-changing opportunities," says Melissa Miller, Kentucky 4-H Foundation director. "It instills valuable skills through hands-on learning, preparing future leaders for our community."
Every $10 donation stays in Carter County, funding programs in areas like leadership, agriculture, science, technology, and communication. With over 185,000 farm plates renewed annually, the impact can be significant.
In 2023, Kentucky 4-H received $244,490 from Ag Tag donations, highlighting the program's potential. By renewing your farm plate and adding the $10 donation, you're directly investing in the future of Carter County youth.
Join the effort and empower the next generation of leaders. Choose to donate with your Ag Tag renewal and make a difference in your community.
