Horse Council Dinner and Discussion June 14

Does your release for farm tours truly cover you if a guest gets bitten or stepped on? Do you really need a release if your friend comes over to ride? Is your saddle covered under renters insurance if it's at the barn? Does the D&O insurance actually cover your board if the organization gets sued? Do you have to tell your homeowner's insurance about the two old ponies in the backyard? If you travel to teach lessons, but don't ride at other farms, are you covered?

Let the Kentucky Horse Council demystify these questions and others involving equine and farm insurance, and get your personal questions answered by experts.

The monthly dinner and discussion will be June 14 with networking from 5:30 to 6 p.m., dinner from 6 to 6:30 p.m., and the presentation with times for questions from 6:30 to 8 p.m. The event takes place at The Grand Reserve, 903 Manchester St., Lexington.

Panelists will include insurance agents, a farm and home insurance specialist, and equine underwriters.
