Dive into the heart and soul of agriculture at the Kentucky Museum's grand opening of "The Farmer Cultural Awareness Project" on January 26th from 4-6 pm. Witness firsthand the experiences, perspectives, and rich cultural tapestry of farm life in a way that will challenge and broaden your understanding.
This groundbreaking exhibit features the voices of 27 farmers from across south-central Kentucky, sharing their stories and aspirations with the non-farming public. It's a chance to bridge the gap, dispel stereotypes, and celebrate the diverse world of Kentucky's agricultural communities.
The project is a collaboration between Western Kentucky University and the Raising Hope initiative, a statewide effort dedicated to supporting the health and well-being of Kentucky's farming families. Witness the culmination of their dedication as farmers' personal narratives come alive in the museum.
